Doran ahead as British championship goes to Blyton

The Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship returns to Blyton on Sunday (September 12) for its seventh and penultimate event of the year with the title battle coming to the boil after reigning champion Pat Doran (Winkleigh) gained his second event win of the year in round six, moving ahead of Andy Grant (Barnstaple) to take the points lead.

PSM Motorsport announce new venue for Rallycross

PSM Motorsport Ltd have today announced that they are going to build their own Rallycross venue at Tockwith, in North Yorkshire which will host two rounds of the 2010 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship subject to MSA approval.

Knockhill to host 2010 Rallycross Superprix

PSM Motorsport Ltd have today announced that Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland (Fife) will host the 2010 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Superprix. The event will take place on Saturday October 23rd and Sunday October 24th, which will include the final round of the 2010 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship.

Three times British Rally Champion, Mark Higgins will make his Rallycross debut at Pembrey on July 25th & 26th when he takes part in rounds six and seven of the 2009 ITV Men and Motors televised Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship.

Open Championship title battle enters Manning's backyard in Wales

Pembrey Circuit (Carmarthenshire) near Llanelli, Wales plays host rounds six and seven of the 2009 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship on July 25th & 26th.



Drivers can only count their best six results out of the eight rounds of the Championship. However drivers must also count the final round of the Championship at Croft Circuit on Saturday October 31st as a points scoring round, meaning that the leading protagonists may have to discard one or two scores after Pembrey. Taking all of this into account, the title battle in all categories is still very much wide open.

Hill wins and takes points lead

Steve Hill (Aylesbury) won the fourth round of the Kumho Tyres MSA British Rallycross Championship at Lydden (May 25).



Hill won through at the end of a dramatic Superfinal, guiding his Mitsubishi Lancer E9 to his first event win of the year and with it take a three point lead in the championship.
